2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.

Exactly 2 weeks ago, the International Olympic Committe chose Rio de Janeiro to host 2016 Summer Olympic Games. Brazil is the "cult" country at the moment, it will be the first country of South America to host the event. Some questions arise from these facts:
Will Rio prepared to host the 2016 SOG?
Will this decision harm other states?

Definitively, I will answer those questions with two sentences:

1-) No, It won't.
2-) Yes, Mr. Friedman you were wrong. There is not a free lunch only. There will be a free big supper.

A new blog, new content is coming soon. I am currently work with Dot.com market at Abril Digital. I learned a lot about the market over the past 3 months who I am working there and I also realized, they are very delayed compared to market. Notice that Naspers, group who purchased 91% of Buscape.com for $342MM is also stockholder of Editora Abril and consequently Abril Digital. Mr Antoine Roux, Naspers' CEO is a clever gentleman and the future of the brazilian publisher company will be in his own hands. At the moment, nobody expects a promisse future of Abril's startup due to lack of creative labs as well as know-how, research and development team and last but not least, bonuses policies, such as stock options, a common pratice of the internet market abroad.
Finally, I will try to bring topics about my country for those who wants to know about the brazilian market and do not speak portuguese.

Welcome Everyone

At first, I will introduce myself for everyone who does not know me.
I am Luiz Felipe Lopes Cardoso, 24 years old and I was born in São Paulo, Brazil.
For the people who does not know São Paulo please read the main characteristics at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/São_Paulo . Just to summarize, São Paulo, together with Mexico City and Buenos Aires is the most important financial center in Latin America. Approximately one-tenth of the brazilian GDP is generated in São Paulo´s metropolitan area.
Like New York, São Paulo never sleeps and offers an unlimited type of restaurants. Trust me, I travelled to the most important cities in the world and I have not seen a cost-benefit trade-off like here. On the other hand, the equity system is one of the worst in the world, comparable to the african countries.
Now let´s talk about the main objectives of this blog. I will try to expose topics on Politics, Economics and Finance.
Sometimes we will see something related to the credit crunch or the financial crisis that we have been facing or the price determination of an American rainbow call. Therefore, the topics will be decided by my own in a few moments before I write. Just to remind, if you wanna read only the news I strongly recommend the most important newspapers in the world such as : New York Times, Financial Times and so forth. We will bring some comments of these newspapers and explain the theory behind to find a fruitful application to the real world.
Maybe, some of the brazilian readers will ask for me. What the hell are you writing in english?
It is simple, to achieve everyone around the world it is mandatory to write in a common language and unfortunately it is not portuguese. (I hate you Pedro Alvares Cabral) [Cabral discovered Brazil in 1500, according to the history books and my Lycee Pasteur History classes.]
